Policies
Weapons: Con*Cept has a strict weapons policy which may be viewed hereBadges: Your badge is proof of membership and must be visible at all times. A 5$ fee will be charged for the replacement of a lost badge.
Children: Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Be aware that not everything at Con*Cept may be suitable for young eyes, and this is especially true of the video room and art show.
Food & Drink: Food and drink may be consumed only in the ConSuite. Our ConSuite cannot guarantee that the food served is without potential hazard for members with
allergies. Only YOU know what is safe for you to ingest.
Photography: Photography and video taping is not permitted in the art show. To protect the safety of the masquerade participants, we do not allow flash photography during the masquerade. Ask permission before photographing our guests or other convention members. Do not use tripods or other bulky equipment where they might impede access to seats, doors, and aisles in the event a room must be evacuated.
Refunds: We cannot reimburse memberships, but memberships can be transferred if for some reason you are unable to attend the convention. To transfer a membership, inform the registrar at conceptsff@conceptsff.ca of the change and be sure to provide the new member with a letter to confirm that he/she is the new member.
Room Parties: The hotel has designated the third floor as the party floor. Please keep the room parties in the rooms - and that includes the noise as well as food and drink.
Con*Cept reserves the right to expel without refund any person the committee deems to be behaving in a lewd, disruptive, or illegal manner.
