This section is dedicated to my music reviews, every year I compile my top ten favorite albums and singles.

Top Albums of 2002

01 Fever--Kylie

"Light Years" will always be my favorite Kylie Album, but "Fever" was the one that put her on the map. The mega success of "Can't Get You Out Of My Head" brought Kylie from obscurity in North America to instant hit, the single went on to #1 in over 20 countries. The album is a mix of 70's/80's dance and europop. You can't escape the groove of "Love At First Sight", "In Your Eyes" or "Your Love". The album ends of with the delightful electric sounding of "Burning Up" which decribes the album perfectly.

02 A New Day Has Come--Celine Dion

Celine's best album since the grammy winning "Falling Into You". A Mix of great dance songs "I'm Alive", "Sorry For Love", and "When The Wrong One Loves You Right". The title tracks haunting vocal make it one of the biggest hits of the year. Her version of Etta James "At Last" is breathtaking. Favorite song is the guitar rock "Ten Days".

03 Feels So Good--Atomic Kitten

Theses girls are definitely the "new Bananarama". This sophomore album delivers a solid peace of British POP. From the revamp version of "The Tide Is High" to "Walking on Water" and the disco sounds of "Softer The Touch". Many hit singles including "The Last Goodbye" and "Love Doesn't Hasve To Hurt". The title track is a great Hi-NRG number written by none other then Kylie Minogue.

04 U Can Never b2 Straight--Boy George

A beautiful Cabaret Cafe album by Mr. O'Dowd. A mixture of new songs and old ones redone and stripped down. Some of his best and most frank lyrics on his lovers and homosexuality. All songs are great from the jazzy "ST.Christopher" to the spanish flavored transgendered story on "If She Was He". The album includes the beautiful "If I Could Fly", my favorite " Same Thing In Reverse", and "Cheapness and Beauty" originally from the album of the same name. This album is a must buy.

05 Together--Lulu

Bristish 60's singer Lulu teams up with the hottest artist of today for an album of duets. Including Atomic Kitten, Sting, Elton John, Westlife and Ronan Keating. She covers her famous hit "To Sir With Love" with Samantha Mumba. Also included is the song that inspired the album, the 1993 duet "Relight My Fire" with british boy band Take That. Her voice never sounded so great.

06 UP!--Shania Twain

Canada's biggest country export delivers a solid album. 2 versions are included one with country mixes the other for pop radio. Tons of hits from the title track, "I'm gona Getcha Good", "Shes Not Just A Pretty Face", and"Forever And For Always".
